Your Certifications¶
The system tracks pilot certifications and alerts you when they are coming up for renewal. Keeping certifications current is a legal requirement for all drone operations.
Viewing Your Certifications¶

- Current status (Active, Expired, Expiring Soon)

Renewal Alerts¶
When a certification is approaching its expiry date, the system displays a badge in the top navigation bar:
- Red badge — a certification expires within 7 days (critical)
- Yellow badge — a certification expires within 30 days (warning)
You will also see a coloured alert on the My Certifications page and the dashboard.
What to do when a certification is expiring
Contact a Responsible Officer — they can record your renewal once you have completed the required training or re-test with the CAA or an approved NQE/RAE. You cannot update your own certification records.
Renewal History¶
Each certification record keeps a full renewal history. Click on a certification card to see the chain of renewals from the first issue to the present.
