Your Certifications

The system tracks pilot certifications and alerts you when they are coming up for renewal. Keeping certifications current is a legal requirement for all drone operations.

Viewing Your Certifications

Click My Certifications in the left sidebar of the dashboard. You will see a card for each certification on your record, showing:

  • Certificate type and number
  • Issue date and expiry date
  • Current status (Active, Expired, Expiring Soon)

Certification Types

Renewal Alerts

When a certification is approaching its expiry date, the system displays a badge in the top navigation bar:

  • Red badge — a certification expires within 7 days (critical)
  • Yellow badge — a certification expires within 30 days (warning)

You will also see a coloured alert on the My Certifications page and the dashboard.

What to do when a certification is expiring

Contact a Responsible Officer — they can record your renewal once you have completed the required training or re-test with the CAA or an approved NQE/RAE. You cannot update your own certification records.

Renewal History

Each certification record keeps a full renewal history. Click on a certification card to see the chain of renewals from the first issue to the present.
